Water Use Restriction Notice
Water Use Restriction Notice
Effective July 13, 2026
To all CGIO water users:
The Logan River has dropped below the 200 CFS threshold, currently measuring 195 CFS. As a result, Cache Highline Water Association (CGIO) is implementing mandatory water use restrictions, effective immediately.
How This Affects You
Your watering allotment is based on the size of your lot and irrigable acreage. Find your lot size below to see your weekly watering schedule for your lawns. We have not received any official word about this from CHWA, but it is our understanding that you may continue to water your gardens on an as-needed basis to keep them alive.
Weekly Watering Allotment by Lot Size
Choose either Option A or Option B for your property — not both.

Times shown are minutes per watering day. If your lot size isn't listed please use the schedule of the lot size that is closest to your lot. If you're unsure which option to choose, either works — just be consistent and don't exceed your listed minutes on watering days.
What We're Asking of You
• Coordinate with your neighbors to spread watering demand evenly across all 7 days of the week — not everyone should water on the same two or three days.
• Talk with your neighbors to confirm everyone on your system has received this notice and understands the new schedule.
• Please check canyongatesirrigation.com regularly — we will post updated weekly allotments as CHWA provides more information and as river conditions change. CHWA indicated that they expect to post weekly updates on water usage restrictions.
We understand these restrictions are an inconvenience, and we appreciate your cooperation as we work to keep the system sustainable for all users during this low-flow period. If you have questions, please contact us directly.
Thank you for your patience and conservation efforts.
